About Us
The Savanna School District is an award-winning elementary district serving approximately 1,800 students in the cities of Anaheim, Buena Park, Cypress, and Stanton. We are dedicated to providing an exceptional educational program that fosters academic, physical, social, and emotional growth.
Our district comprises four distinguished elementary schools—Cerritos, Hansen, Holder, and Twila Reid—alongside our BRIGHT Learners Academy, which provides high-quality preschool for children ages 18 months to four years.We pride ourselves on a ''family-like'' atmosphere where diversity is celebrated and every child is encouraged to reach their individual capacity.
Our curriculum is grounded in Common Core State Standards, enhanced by 21st-century technology integration, including iPads and computers in every classroom. We are excited to offer a robust Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) program, integrating dance, theatre, and choral music into the school day to cultivate creativity and confidence in every student.
Beyond the standard school day, our popular W.I.N.G.S. (Wonder, Inspire, Nurture, Grow, Succeed) after-school program provides enriching opportunities in sports, music, art, and science. We also offer a technology-rich Summer Academy to ensure continuous learning.
